RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Baseball center fielder Logan Farrar was named Virginia Lottery Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance at the plate in the Rams' series against Massachusetts this past weekend.

The Woodbridge, Virginia native batted .384 in three games against the Minutemen, scoring four runs and driving in three.  Farrar also had eight put outs and achieved a perfect fielding percentage.

Farrar's biggest game came on Sunday, April 9, when he helped the Rams take game three from the Minutemen, 11-1. The senior hit 3-for-5 with a home run and double and was just a triple shy of hitting for the cycle.

VCU went on to sweep the Minutemen to improve to 8-1 in conference play and 19-13 overall. The Rams travel to Davenport Field in Charlottesville, Virginia tomorrow, April 11, to take on #20 Virginia in the back end of a home-and-home with the Cavaliers.
